My experience with Service Medic Heating & Air Conditioning was excellent! My wife and I decided to replace our two HVAC units (both ~20 years old). We had several companies quote the replacement and Service Medic was by far the cheapest option.
Service Medic was very professional, responsive, and answered all of our questions. They replaced the upstairs unit on the first day to ensure we had AC for the night. Thoroughly impressed with Sam and his team! Our A/C gave out on one of the hottest days of the year. The next day, it was fixed. The company I always use was busy and couldn't get to me until later that week. Sam was very professional and took the extra time to install my AC and furnace the right way. The attention to detail and addressing my questions were important to me. I've worked with several HVAC servicing companies in the triangle, but hands down these guys are the best. The quality of their work is top notch. I can tell this even as a layperson. Everything is tied up, sealed, taped, labeled. They explain everything in detail and can "dumb it down" for the customer when needed. The prices are very fair. I really can't speak highly enough for these guys. I've had them do several projects now for me (HVAC for home addition, multiple zoning, servicing, fixing what was done wrong before, water heater) and will continue to use them in the future.

ServiceMedic recently replaced our upstairs HVAC unit, after receiving a high recommendation from a neighbor. Sam gave me a reasonable estimate for the work, and was easily accessible during the entire process. On the day of installation, Sam and Adil knew exactly what they were doing. They did not leave any stone unturned – removed the old equipment cleanly, installed and tested the new equipment without causing any disruptions. They even went above-and-beyond by noticing a fire hazard with an attic light bulb that was too close to the air duct and moved it at no cost. They were prompt in any questions during and after the installation. I will certainly go back to ServiceMedic for my future needs, and happy to recommend them to others.

We have called on Service Medic twice now. Both times, it was hot outside and the AC unit quite. Both times the service was prompt, ( diagnosed within 12 hours and repaired within 24/48 hours) Not only is this dependable service, Siam is knowledgeable and his pricing is very reasonable. We have had such bad luck over the years with HVAC people. I always felt like I was being “sold” and rarely felt comfortable with the diagnosis. We’ve been having some issues with both units and had a couple of larger companies in to inspect. To make a long story short, we had conflicting assessments with a wide range of proposals. Off of the 12 5-Star reviews I read here, my wife and I had Sam come and bid. Sam took the time to show me exactly what he saw, sketched things out to make it simple, and provided an estimate that was about 20% less than the nearest competitor for comparable work (and about 80% less than one of the bids that included work that the other vendors said was absurd). Sam and his partner got on our job a day later, completed the work promptly, and were very proud of the work the did (Sam again took the time to show me everything and the areas where they went beyond what’s required). I’m happy to make mine 5-Star #13.

Sam and Adil replaced my 23 year old split system with a gas pack this past spring. They got me a great deal on a Trane unit and worked through the complications of converting the system patiently and competently. They supplied replacement parts on top of what was initially expected and relocated a dryer vent for me. Their work is neat and all the gas lines, shroud and flex routes and connections look great! As a 66 year old woman for the last three years building my own home I have dealt with quit a few contractors, tradesmen. Here are a few observations I made concerning Sam and Adil as they installed a new heat pump for me. First of all these men were respectful to me and treated me fairly. They explained what I needed, why I needed it. They pointed out weaknesses of prior workmanship without badmouthing the former tradesman. Sam & Adil did us right on a recent home purchase, and I'm very glad to have contacted them. When we had a regular house inspection, it was too cold for the home inspector to properly check out the air conditioning units (and home inspectors typically don't open up closed units to see how the internals are working). Well, before the heat started I wound up calling up Sam to get them to come out and service the 17 year old units. Turns out to be both a smart and costly move, but I'm very happy with the results.

Both units were quite rusted, one compressor had a blown capacitor and wouldn't have turned on anyway, and they were both low on freon. Faced with the choice of patching up these units that were probably on their last legs or doing the job right, I decided that we would replace the units.

Sam & Adil did the job right. They replaced the compressors and coils in a day, and did a great job. I'm very happy with the new units (Goodman replacing the original Lennox AC units). I mentioned that I was looking to replace the thermostats at some point in the future, and Sam said that they would do the job replacing the thermostats when they installed the AC. That was a small but very meaningful gesture, and I'm very appreciative of it.
